Luksusbaby is a webshop from Aalborg, Denmark, that sells quality luxury clothing for children and babies aged 0-16. Luksusbaby was founded in 2016.
We asked Morten Grabowski Kjær, Owner at Luksusbaby, a few questions regarding their impressive progress in march 2020 during Covid-19.
Morten gave some great insights into how they sharpened their focus, and honed in on all creative senses.
As Corona gradually started, we began to sharpen the focus of our product range, and Ann-Louise (Owner at Luksusbaby) honed in on all creative senses.
We focused on toys, on the customer, and at the same time, we understood the situation, and that everything doesn’t have to be expensive.
We invented creative drawings of our “Luksusbamse” in full size doing daily work in our shop, Luksusbamse school assignments, Luksusbamse templates for beat plates, etc. Everything in line with our brand.

I believe that we had created a strong brand and credibility among our customers before the Pandemic.
We took the shipping cost away (we always had a minimum order amount for free shipping earlier) but, we took it away because we wanted to show consideration for the situation where our customers were/are forced to stay home.
We adjusted our product range, retained our marketing efforts, and took the creative part to a new level. Furthermore, we coupled the above with very clear and trustworthy communication to the customer during this sensitive time.
Stick to the concept but adjust to the new needs and turn up all the creative ideas.
Take good care of the employees and lead the way as owner/manager.
Lastly - be credible and focus more on your customers than on your bottom line.
